Washington International School
The Washington International School Summer Institute for Teachers (WISSIT) is a professional development opportunity for public, private and charter school teachers in the Washington DC area. Funded in part by a grant from the Edward E Ford Foundation, WISSIT brings together teachers for a week-long summer learning program based on the teaching philosophies of Project Zero from The Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition to the one week of study together, the teachers will be involved in a series of programs and discussions online throughout the school year to continue their collaboration and share their classroom experiences.
