KIPP Through College

Enrichment & Access
Lick-Wilmerding

The KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) mission is to prepare students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. A national network of free, open enrollment, college-preparatory public schools, KIPP currently operates 109 schools in 20 states and the District of Columbia, serving over 32,000 students.

As part of the commitment to ensure that students matriculate to and graduate from college, KIPP Through College (KTC) continues the program by supporting students after they leave KIPP middle and high schools. The KTC program aims to empower all KIPP Bay Area School (KBAS) alumni to continue using the scholarly habits, knowledge, and skills learned at KIPP schools as they continue onto high school, college, and beyond. KTC offers programming two evenings a month at LWHS.
