Readers are Leaders
Vistamar School has created a unique partnership with their neighborhood school district, Wiseburn School District. Vistamar students visit Cabrillo Elementary School once a week for Readers are Leaders, a mentoring and literacy program. Outside of the classroom, students also work with the elementary school students in the garden, nurturing both the plants and their relationships.

DaVinci Schools
The DaVinci Schools are a group of four small charter schools in Los Angeles, California.  They combine a project-based, college-preparatory curriculum with real-world active learning, internships, and early college classes ensuring that students acquire the authentic skill sets needed for real-world readiness.  Vistamar has partnered with the DaVinci schools and their administration in particular to share information and learn about their strong internship program.  In addition, the schools host a joint Career Day speaker.

Richstone Family Center
Vistamar School works closely with the Richstone Family Center, a resource center for families in crisis. Once a month, Vistamar students create and facilitate activities and games for the afterschool program. Vistamar is also part of special events at Richstone Families, in particular providing full Thanksgiving meals for families.
